حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ السَّدُوسِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَقَالَ أَلَا إِنَّ دِيَةَ الْخَطَإِ الْعَمْدِ بِالسَّوْطِ أَوْ الْعَصَا مُغَلَّظَةٌ مِائَةٌ مِنْ الْإِبِلِ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعُونَ خَلِفَةً فِي بُطُونِهَا أَوْلَادُهَا أَلَا إِنَّ كُلَّ دَمٍ وَمَالٍ وَمَأْثُرَةٍ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ تَحْتَ قَدَمَيَّ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مِنْ سِقَايَةِ الْحَاجِّ وَسِدَانَةِ الْبَيْتِ فَإِنِّي قَدْ أَمْضَيْتُهَا لِأَهْلِهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us: Hammad, meaning Ibn Salamah, told us: Ali ibn Zayd informed us, from Ya'qub al-Sadusi, from Ibn Umar: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, addressed the people on the day of the Conquest and said: Indeed, the blood money for a quasi-intentional killing with a whip or a stick is heavier: one hundred camels, forty of them pregnant with young in their bellies. Indeed, every claim of blood, property, or honor from the pre-Islamic era of ignorance is beneath my feet, except for providing water to the pilgrims and the custodianship of the House, for I have confirmed these to their people.
