حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَطَرٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الرَّعْدَ وَالصَّوَاعِقَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَقْتُلْنَا بِغَضَبِكَ وَلَا تُهْلِكْنَا بِعَذَابِكَ وَعَافِنَا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Affan told us: 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad told us: al-Hajjaj told us: Abu Matar told me, from Salim, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he heard thunder and thunderbolts, would say: "O Allah, do not kill us with Your wrath, nor destroy us with Your punishment, and spare us before that."
