حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ مَرَّتْ بِنَا جِنَازَةٌ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَوْ قُمْتَ بِنَا مَعَهَا قَالَ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَقَبَضَ عَلَيْهَا قَبْضًا شَدِيدًا فَلَمَّا دَنَوْنَا مِنْ الْمَقَابِرِ سَمِعَ رَنَّةً مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَهُوَ قَابِضٌ عَلَى يَدِي فَاسْتَدَارَنِي فَاسْتَقْبَلَهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا شَرًّا وَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُتْبَعَ جِنَازَةٌ مَعَهَا رَانَّةٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Nadr told us, Abu Mu'awiyah - meaning Shayban - told us, from Layth, from Mujahid, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: A funeral procession passed by us, and Ibn Umar said, "Would that you stood up with us and joined it." He said: So he took my hand and gripped it tightly. When we drew near the graves, he heard a wailing cry from behind him while he still gripped my hand; he turned me around to face it and rebuked it harshly, saying, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade that a funeral procession be followed by a wailing woman."
