حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فِي ثَقِيفٍ كَذَّابًا وَمُبِيرًا.

Hashim told us, Sharik told us, from Abdullah ibn Asim: I heard Ibn Umar say: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "In Thaqif there is a great liar and a destroyer."
