حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَقُمْتُ وَتَرَكْتُ رَجُلًا عِنْدَهُ مِنْ كِنْدَةَ فَأَتَيْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ فَجَاءَ الْكِنْدِيُّ فَزِعًا فَقَالَ جَاءَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ أَحْلِفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ لَا وَلَكِنْ احْلِفْ بِرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ فَإِنَّ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَحْلِفْ بِأَبِيكَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Mansur, from Sa'id ibn Ubaydah, who said: I was with Ibn Umar, and I got up and left a man from Kindah with him, and I went to Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab. He said: Then the man from Kindah came, frightened, and said: A man came to Ibn Umar and said, "I swear by the Ka'bah." Ibn Umar said, "No, rather swear by the Lord of the Ka'bah, for Umar used to swear by his father, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Do not swear by your father, for whoever swears by other than Allah has committed shirk.'"
