حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَرْزُقُنَا التَّمْرَ قَالَ وَقَدْ كَانَ أَصَابَ النَّاسَ يَوْمَئِذٍ جَهْدٌ فَكُنَّا نَأْكُلُ فَيَمُرُّ عَلَيْنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَنَحْنُ نَأْكُلُ فَيَقُولُ لَا تُقَارِنُوا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْإِقْرَانِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْتَأْذِنَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ لَا أَرَى فِي الِاسْتِئْذَانِ إِلَّا أَنَّ الْكَلِمَةَ مِنْ كَلَامِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad told us, Shu'bah told us, from Jabalah ibn Suhaym, who said: Ibn al-Zubayr used to provide us with dates as provisions. He said: The people had suffered hardship at that time, so we were eating, and Ibn Umar would pass by us while we were eating and say: Do not combine two dates at once when eating, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade combining dates, unless a man asks permission of his brother. Shu'bah said: I do not think the part about asking permission is anything but from the words of Ibn Umar himself.
