حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْهَمْدَانِيَّ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ بِجَمْعٍ فَأَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ قَالَ فَسَأَلَهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ مِثْلَ هَذَا فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us: I heard Abu Ishaq narrating that he heard Abdullah ibn Malik al-Hamdani say: I prayed with Ibn Umar at Jam'. He gave the iqamah and prayed Maghrib as three rak'ahs, then prayed Isha as two rak'ahs with a single iqamah. He said: Khalid ibn Malik asked him about that, and he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, do the same in this very place.
