حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ عَفَّانُ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ آخِذًا بِيَدِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ إِذْ عَرَضَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ كَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي النَّجْوَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُدْنِي الْمُؤْمِنَ فَيَضَعُ عَلَيْهِ كَنَفَهُ وَيَسْتُرُهُ مِنْ النَّاسِ وَيُقَرِّرُهُ بِذُنُوبِهِ وَيَقُولُ لَهُ أَتَعْرِفُ ذَنْبَ كَذَا أَتَعْرِفُ ذَنْبَ كَذَا أَتَعْرِفُ ذَنْبَ كَذَا حَتَّى إِذَا قَرَّرَهُ بِذُنُوبِهِ وَرَأَى فِي نَفْسِهِ أَنَّهُ قَدْ هَلَكَ قَالَ فَإِنِّي قَدْ سَتَرْتُهَا عَلَيْكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِنِّي أَغْفِرُهَا لَكَ الْيَوْمَ ثُمَّ يُعْطَى كِتَابَ حَسَنَاتِهِ وَأَمَّا الْكُفَّارُ وَالْمُنَافِقُونَ فَيَقُولُ الْأَشْهَادُ { هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ أَلَا لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ }.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Bahz and Affan told us, they said: Hammam told us, Qatadah told us - Affan said: from Safwan ibn Muhriz, who said: I was holding Ibn Umar's hand when a man approached him and said: "How did you hear the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) speak concerning the private conversation [between Allah and the believer] on the Day of Resurrection?" He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, brings the believer near, places His covering over him, and shields him from the people, and makes him acknowledge his sins, saying to him: 'Do you recognize such-and-such sin? Do you recognize such-and-such sin? Do you recognize such-and-such sin?' until, when He has made him acknowledge his sins and he thinks in himself that he is doomed, He says: 'I concealed them for you in this world, and I forgive them for you today.' Then he is given the record of his good deeds. As for the disbelievers and hypocrites, the witnesses will say: {These are the ones who lied about their Lord. Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.}"
