حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ عَنْ زَاذَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَخْبِرْنِي مَا نَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْأَوْعِيَةِ وَفَسِّرْهُ لَنَا بِلُغَتِنَا فَإِنَّ لَنَا لُغَةً سِوَى لُغَتِكُمْ قَالَ نَهَى عَنْ الْحَنْتَمِ وَهُوَ الْجَرُّ وَنَهَى عَنْ الْمُزَفَّتِ وَهُوَ الْمُقَيَّرُ وَنَهَى عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَهُوَ الْقَرْعُ وَنَهَى عَنْ النَّقِيرِ وَهِيَ النَّخْلَةُ تُنْقَرُ نَقْرًا وَتُنْسَجُ نَسْجًا قَالَ فَفِيمَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَشْرَبَ فِيهِ قَالَ الْأَسْقِيَةُ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَمَرَ أَنْ نَنْبِذَ فِي الْأَسْقِيَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah; and Ibn Ja'far said: Shu'bah narrated to us - 'Amr ibn Murrah narrated to me, from Zadhan, who said: I said to Ibn 'Umar: Tell me what containers the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade, and explain it to us in our language, for we have a language other than yours. He said: He forbade al-hantam, which is the clay jar; and he forbade al-muzaffat, which is the tarred vessel; and he forbade al-dubba', which is the gourd; and he forbade al-naqir, which is a palm trunk that is hollowed out and worked into a vessel. He said: In what then do you order us to drink? He said: In water-skins. Muhammad said: And he ordered us to make nabidh in water-skins.
