حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي الْوَاسِطِيَّ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُنِيبٍ الْجُرَشِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُعِثْتُ بِالسَّيْفِ حَتَّى يُعْبَدَ اللَّهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَجُعِلَ رِزْقِي تَحْتَ ظِلِّ رُمْحِي وَجُعِلَ الذِّلَّةُ وَالصَّغَارُ عَلَى مَنْ خَالَفَ أَمْرِي وَمَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Yazid - that is, al-Wasiti - informed us, Ibn Thawban informed us, from Hassan ibn Atiyyah, from Abu Munib al-Jurashi, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "I have been sent with the sword until Allah alone is worshipped, with no partner; my provision has been placed beneath the shade of my spear; and abasement and humiliation have been placed upon whoever opposes my command; and whoever imitates a people is one of them."
