حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّأْمِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَقَالَ هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثُ حَفِظْتُهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَحُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ الْعِرَاقُ قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ عِرَاقٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Abdullah told us, Sufyan told us, from Abdullah ibn Dinar, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, appointed for the people of Madinah Dhul-Hulayfah, for the people of Najd Qarn, and for the people of Syria al-Juhfah, and he said, "These three I memorized from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him." And I was told that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "and for the people of Yemen, Yalamlam." It was said to him, "What about Iraq?" He said, "There was no Iraq in those days."
