حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أُرِيتُ فِي النَّوْمِ أَنِّي أَنْزِعُ بِدَلْوِ بَكْرَةٍ عَلَى قَلِيبٍ فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَنَزَعَ ذَنُوبًا أَوْ ذَنُوبَيْنِ وَنَزَعَ نَزْعًا ضَعِيفًا وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَاسْتَقَى فَاسْتَحَالَتْ غَرْبًا فَلَمْ أَرَ عَبْقَرِيًّا مِنْ النَّاسِ يَفْرِي فَرِيَّهُ حَتَّى رَوَّى النَّاسُ وَضَرَبُوا بِعَطَنٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us: Ubaydullah narrated to us: Abu Bakr ibn Salim narrated to me, from Salim ibn Abdullah, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I saw in a dream that I was drawing water with a bucket from a well; then Abu Bakr came and drew a bucket or two, drawing weakly, and Allah forgives him. Then Umar ibn al-Khattab came and drew water, and it turned into a huge bucket, and I have never seen any man among the people so skilled as he was, until the people drank their fill and set their camels down at the watering place.
