Abdah told us: Ubaydullah told us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he returned from military expeditions and raiding parties, or from Hajj and Umrah, and ascended a hill, would say the takbir three times, then say: 'There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner; His is the dominion, His is the praise, and He has power over all things. We are returning, repentant, worshipping, prostrating, praising our Lord. He fulfilled His promise, aided His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.'
