Yazid told us, Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from 'Ikrimah ibn Khalid al-Makhzumi, from Ibn 'Umar, that a man bought palm trees whose owner had already pollinated them, and he disputed with him before the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, ruled that the fruit belonged to the one who had pollinated it, unless the buyer stipulated otherwise.
