حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْقُرْآنِ مَثَلُ الْإِبِلِ الْمُعَقَّلَةِ إِنْ تَعَاهَدَهَا صَاحِبُهَا بِعُقُلِهَا أَمْسَكَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَإِنْ أَطْلَقَ عُقُلَهَا ذَهَبَتْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd told us, 'Ubaydullah told us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The likeness of the Qur'an is like hobbled camels: if their owner keeps watch over their hobbles, he keeps hold of them, but if he releases their hobbles, they go away."
