حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ خَمْرٌ وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ.

Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh told us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr told us, from Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Every intoxicant is wine, and every intoxicant is forbidden."
