Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubaydullah: Nafi' told me, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar — my father said, and Yahya ibn Sa'id once said "from 'Umar" — that he said: "O Messenger of Allah, I vowed, in the time before Islam, to seclude myself for a night in the mosque." He said: "Fulfill your vow."
