Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubaydullah: Nafi' informed me, from Ibn 'Umar, that he used to do ramal (a brisk pace) for three circuits and walk for four, claiming that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do so, and that he used to walk between the two corners. He said: He only walked between them so that it would be easier for him to touch them.
