حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ النَّجْمِ فَسَجَدَ وَمَا بَقِيَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ إِلَّا سَجَدَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا رَفَعَ كَفًّا مِنْ حَصًى فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَقَالَ يَكْفِينِي هَذَا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ قُتِلَ كَافِرًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us: Shu'ba told us, Abu Ishaq said: We were informed, from al-Aswad, from Abdullah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Surat al-Najm and prostrated, and none of the people remained without prostrating, except one man who took a handful of pebbles and placed it on his face and said, "This is enough for me." Abdullah said, "I saw him afterward killed as a disbeliever."
