انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The first deficiency that entered the Children of Israel was that a man would meet his brother and say: O so-and-so, fear Allah and abandon what you are doing — it is not permissible for you. Then he would meet him the next day in the same state, and it would not prevent him from eating with him, drinking with him, and sitting with him. When they did this, Allah struck the hearts of some of them against others. Then he recited: Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of Dawud and of Isa, the son of Maryam... to His saying: but many of them are defiantly disobedient (5:78-81). Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: By Allah, you must command what is right and forbid what is wrong, restrain the wrongdoer, force him to what is right, and confine him to what is right.'
