حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ خَلِيلًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'There are three whom Allah loves: a man who stood up at night reciting the Book of Allah; a man who gave charity with his right hand — I think he said: while hiding it from his left hand; and a man who was in a military expedition, and his companions were defeated, but he faced (the enemy) until he was killed or Allah granted victory.'
