حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ حَكَمٍ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ إِلَّا حُبِسَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَلَكٌ آخِذٌ بِقَفَاهُ حَتَّى يَقِفَهُ عَلَى جَهَنَّمَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَإِنْ قَالَ الْخَطَأَ أَلْقَاهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ يَهْوِي أَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'There was a man from those before you who had sinned. When death came to him, he said to his sons: When I die, burn me, then crush me, then scatter me in the wind, for by Allah, if my Lord takes hold of me, He will punish me with a punishment He has never punished anyone with. So they did that to him. Allah said to the earth: Return what you took. And there he was, standing. Allah said to him: What made you do what you did? He said: Fear of You, O Lord. So He forgave him.'
