حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ إِنِّي أَعْهَدُ إِلَيْكَ فِي هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا أَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ فَإِنَّكَ إِنْ تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي تُقَرِّبْنِي مِنْ الشَّرِّ وَتُبَاعِدْنِي مِنْ الْخَيْرِ وَإِنِّي لَا أَثِقُ إِلَّا بِرَحْمَتِكَ فَاجْعَلْ لِي عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا تُوَفِّينِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ إِلَّا قَالَ اللَّهُ لِمَلَائِكَتِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ عَبْدِي قَدْ عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ عَهْدًا فَأَوْفُوهُ إِيَّاهُ فَيُدْخِلُهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ سُهَيْلٌ فَأَخْبَرْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ عَوْنًا أَخْبَرَ بِكَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ مَا فِي أَهْلِنَا جَارِيَةٌ إِلَّا وَهِيَ تَقُولُ هَذَا فِي خِدْرِهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, Suhayl ibn Abi Salih and Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Khuthaym informed us, from Awn ibn Abdullah ibn Utbah ibn Mas'ud, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever says: 'O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, I make this covenant with You in this worldly life: I bear witness that there is no god but You alone, without partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and messenger. So if You leave me to myself, You bring me close to evil and distance me from good, and I trust only in Your mercy - so make for me with You a covenant that You will fulfill for me on the Day of Resurrection, for indeed You do not fail in the promise' - Allah will say to His angels on the Day of Resurrection: 'My servant has made a covenant with Me, so fulfill it for him,' and Allah will admit him to Paradise." Suhayl said: "I told al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman that Awn had reported such and such, and he said: 'There is no girl among our family but says this in her private chamber.'"
