Sufyan told us, from Jami', from Abu Wa'il, from Abdullah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever swears a false oath to seize the property of a Muslim will meet Allah while He is angry with him." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, recited to us its confirmation from the Book of Allah, Mighty and Majestic: "Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them."
