Abd al-Samad and Hasan told us, they said: Thabit told us: Hilal told us, from Ikrimah - he was asked - Hasan said: I asked Ikrimah about one who is fasting, whether he may be cupped, and he said: "It was only disliked because of the weakness it causes." And he narrated from Ibn Abbas - Hasan said: then he narrated from Ibn Abbas - that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was cupped while in the state of ihram, because of a meal he had eaten from a poisoned sheep, which had been poisoned by a woman from the people of Khaybar. [This is] the last of the hadiths of Abdullah ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them.
