حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ مِنْ أَجْوَدِ النَّاسِ وَأَجْوَدُ مَا يَكُونُ فِي رَمَضَانَ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ يَلْقَاهُ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ يُدَارِسُهُ الْقُرْآنَ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ أَجْوَدَ مِنْ الرِّيحِ الْمُرْسَلَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Uthman ibn Umar told us: Yunus told us, from al-Zuhri, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdillah ibn Utbah, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was the most generous of people, and he was at his most generous during Ramadan when Jibril would meet him - he met him every night and studied the Qur'an with him. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when Jibril met him, was more generous than the outpouring wind.
