حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا عُيَيْنَةُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَيَّ جُبَّةُ خَزٍّ فَقَالَ لِي سَالِمٌ مَا تَصْنَعُ بِهَذِهِ الثِّيَابِ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated that `Hadrat Ali bin Zaid said: I came to Madinah and entered upon Salim bin Hadrat 'Abdullah, and i was wearing a silk jubbah. Salim said to me: What are you doing with this garment? I heard my father narrate from `Hadrat Umar bin al-Khattab (c.) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: `Silk is only worn by one who has no share [in the Hereafter!
