Hammad ibn Khalid narrated to us, Mu'awiyah, meaning Ibn Salih, narrated to us, from al-Muhajir, the freed slave of Asma' bint Yazid al-Ansariyyah. He said: I heard Asma' bint Yazid say: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Do not kill your children secretly, for by the One in Whose hand is my soul, it (ghailah) catches up with the horseman and throws him down." She said: I said, "What does he mean?" He said: "The ghailah - when a man has intercourse with his wife while she is breastfeeding."
