حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ ثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ أَنَّهُ إِذْ حُضِرَ قَالَ أَدْخِلُوا عَلَيَّ النَّاسَ فَأُدْخِلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَمَا كُنْتُ أُحَدِّثُكُمُوهُ إِلَّا عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَالشَّهِيدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ عُوَيْمِرٌ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ فَأَتَوْا أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ أَخِي وَمَا كَانَ يُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِهِ إِلَّا عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Asim ibn Bahdalah narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, that when death approached him, he said: "Bring the people in to me." So they were brought in, and he said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah, Allah will place him in Paradise.' And I was not going to tell you about it except at the time of death. The witness to this is Uwaymir Abu al-Darda'." So they went to Abu al-Darda', and he said: "My brother spoke the truth, and he would not have told you about it except at the time of his death."
