حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ وحَبِيبٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَذَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فِيمَا أَخَذَ أَنْ لَا يَنُحْنَ فَقَالَتْ امْرَأَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ امْرَأَةً أَسْعَدَتْنِي أَفَلَا أُسْعِدُهَا فَقَبَضَتْ يَدَهَا وَقَبَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ فَلَمْ يُبَايِعْهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah told us, he said: Hisham and Habib informed us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Umm Atiyyah: that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took a pledge from the women, among what he took, that they would not wail. A woman said: "O Messenger of Allah, a woman supported me; shall I not support her in return?" So she withdrew her hand, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) withdrew his hand, and he did not accept her pledge.
