حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ { عَلَى أَنْ لَا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِلَى قَوْلِهِ وَلَا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ } قَالَتْ كَانَ فِيهِ النِّيَاحَةُ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا آلَ فُلَانٍ فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ كَانُوا أَسْعَدُونِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَلَا بُدَّ لِي مِنْ أَنْ أُسْعِدَهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا آلَ فُلَانٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Mu'awiyah told us, he said: Asim al-Ahwal told us, from Hafsah, from Umm Atiyyah, she said: When this verse was revealed — "that they will not associate anything with Allah" up to His saying "and not disobey you in what is right" — she said: "Included in it was wailing." She said: So I said: "O Messenger of Allah, except the family of so-and-so, for they supported me in the Jahiliyyah, and I must support them in return." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Except the family of so-and-so."
