حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مِرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا غَادُونَ عَلَى يَهُودَ فَلَا تَبْدَءُوهُمْ بِالسَّلَامِ فَإِذَا سَلَّمُوا عَلَيْكُمْ فَقُولُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' told us, he said: Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja'far told us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Mirthad ibn Abdullah, from Abu Basrah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "We are going in the morning to the Jews, so do not initiate the greeting to them; if they greet you, say, 'And upon you.'"
