Rawh told us: Shu'bah told us, from Muslim al-Qurri, who said: I asked Ibn Abbas about Hajj tamattu' (combining Hajj and Umrah), and he permitted it, while Ibn al-Zubayr used to forbid it. He said, 'This is the mother of Ibn al-Zubayr who relates that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted it; go in to her and ask her.' He said: So we went in to her, and there was a large, blind woman, and she said, 'The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) did indeed permit it.'
