Yahya b. Sa'id told us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Abd Allah, the freedman of Asma', informed me, from Asma', that she stopped near the house at al-Muzdalifah and said, 'O my son, has the moon set on the night of Jam' (Muzdalifah)?' — while she was praying. I said, 'No.' She prayed for a while, then said, 'O my son, has the moon set?' He said, and the moon had set: 'Yes.' She said, 'Then let us move on.' So we moved on, and we proceeded with her until we cast the pebbles at the Jamrah, then she returned and prayed the dawn prayer at her lodging. I said to her, 'We set out very early.' She said, 'Not at all, my son; the Prophet of God (peace and blessings be upon him) gave permission to the weak travelers to leave early.'
