حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ وَلَقَدْ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعَتَاقَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ.

Mu'awiyah b. Amr told us: Za'idah told us, from Hisham b. Urwah, from Fatimah bint al-Mundhir, from Asma', who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to free slaves during the eclipse of the sun prayer.
