حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَمْرَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَدْفَعُ النَّاسَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَاحْتَبَسْتُ أَيَّامًا فَقَالَ مَا حَبَسَكَ قُلْتُ الْحُمَّى قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
I used to push people away from Ibn Abbas (to manage the crowd). I was absent for some days, and he said: 'What kept you away?' I said: 'Fever.' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Fever is from the heat (fayh) of Hell, so cool it with Zamzam water.'
