حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ أَوْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنْحَرَ فِي هِلَالِ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ فَلَا يَأْخُذْ مِنْ شَعْرِهِ وَأَظْفَارِهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أُكَيْمَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.

Narrated to us by Muhammad ibn Ja'far, who said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Malik ibn Anas, from 'Umar or 'Amr ibn Muslim, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Umm Salamah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said: "Whoever intends to offer a sacrifice at the sighting of the new moon of Dhul-Hijjah should not take from his hair or nails." [Also] narrated to us by Isma'il ibn Muhammad: Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, who said: Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us: 'Umar ibn Muslim ibn 'Ammar ibn Ukaymah narrated to us, who said: I heard Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab say: I heard Umm Salamah - and he mentioned the hadith.
