حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سَفِينَةَ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ تُصِيبُهُ مُصِيبَةٌ فَيَقُولُ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَاخْلُفْنِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا إِلَّا أَجَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي مُصِيبَتِهِ وَخَلَفَ لَهُ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا قَالَتْ فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قُلْتُ مَنْ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ ثُمَّ عَزَمَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِي فَقُلْتُهَا اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَاخْلُفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا قَالَتْ فَتَزَوَّجْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated to us by Ibn Numayr, who said: Sa'd ibn Sa'id narrated to us, who said: 'Umar ibn Kathir informed me, from Ibn Safinah, the mawla of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no servant who is struck by a calamity and says, 'Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we return; O Allah, reward me in my calamity and grant me something better in its place,' except that Allah rewards him in his calamity and grants him something better in its place." She said: "So when Abu Salamah died, I said, 'Who is better than Abu Salamah, the Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?'" She said: "Then Allah, Mighty and Sublime, resolved it for me, and I said it: 'O Allah, reward me in my calamity and grant me something better in its place.'" She said: "So I married the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)."
