حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ عَامِرٍ أَخِي أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ قَالَ فَرَدَّ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فُتْيَاهُ.

Narrated to us by Yahya ibn Sa'id, who said: Shu'bah narrated to us: Qatadah narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from 'Amir, the brother of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to enter the morning in a state of major ritual impurity, then he would perform ghusl and fast. He said: So Abu Hurayrah retracted his religious verdict on this matter.
