Jarir b. 'Abd al-Hamid told us, from Mansur, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Umm Salamah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray Witr with seven or five rak'ahs, without separating between them with a greeting of peace or with speech."
