حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزَّبِيرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزَّبِيرِ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَهُوَ أَمِيرٌ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا وَهِيَ مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ بْنُ سَهْلٍ وَكَانَ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ فَلَعَلَّهَا يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَتْ وَأَنَا إِلَى جَنْبِهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ عُرْوَةُ أُخْبِرُكَ بِالْيَقِينِ وَتَرُدُّ عَلَيَّ بِالظَّنِّ بَلْ مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ اعْتِرَاضَ الْجِنَازَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ya'qub told us: My father told us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr told me: Urwah ibn al-Zubayr related to Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, while he was governor of Medina, from Aisha, wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray toward her while she lay stretched out in front of him. Abu Umamah ibn Sahl, who was present with Umar, said, "Perhaps she was only, O Abu Abdullah -" while she herself was sitting beside him - so Urwah said: "I tell you with certainty, and you counter me with conjecture! Rather, she lay stretched out before him the way a bier is laid crosswise."
