حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَهِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَهَا نَاوِلِينِي الْخُمْرَةَ مِنْ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي حَائِضٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ حَيْضَتَكِ لَيْسَتْ فِي يَدِكِ.

Aisha reported: I had a quarrel with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he said to me: "Will you accept Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah to judge between us?" I said: "No, he would not rule against you for me." He said: "Will you accept Umar?" I said: "I fear Umar." He said: "Will you accept Abu Bakr?" I said: "Yes."
