حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِتِسْعِ رَكَعَاتٍ فَلَمَّا بَدَّنَ وَلَحُمَ صَلَّى سَبْعَ رَكَعَاتٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فَلَمَّا لَحُمَ وَبَدَّنَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aisha reported: I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) complete the night prayer while sitting, except when he grew old. He would recite while sitting, and when thirty or forty verses remained, he would stand up and recite them, then bow and prostrate.
