حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ مِنْ الْخَلَاءِ فَأُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَلَا تَتَوَضَّأُ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ بِالْوُضُوءِ إِذَا قُمْتُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) came out from the toilet and was offered food. He was asked: 'Will you not perform ablution?' He said: 'I am only required to perform ablution when I stand for prayer.'
