حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدِي امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدِ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ فَقَالَ مَنْ هَذِهِ قُلْتُ هَذِهِ فُلَانَةٌ وَهِيَ تَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ أَوْ لَا تَنَامُ اللَّيْلَ قَالَ فَكَرِهَ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ الْكَرَاهِيَةَ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ الْعَمَلِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered upon me while a woman from Banu Asad ibn Khuzaimah was with me. He asked: "Who is this?" I said: "This is so-and-so, and she stands in prayer all night" — or: "she does not sleep at night." He disliked that until I could see the displeasure on his face. He said: "Take upon yourselves only what you can bear, for Allah the Almighty does not tire until you tire."
