Waki' narrated to us, he said: Malik ibn Mighwal narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'id ibn Wahb al-Hamdani, from Aisha, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, {those who give what they give while their hearts are fearful} - is that the man who commits adultery, steals, and drinks wine?" He said, "No, O daughter of Abu Bakr" - or "O daughter of al-Siddiq - rather it is the man who fasts, prays, and gives charity, while fearing that it will not be accepted from him."
