حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي جَالِسًا بَعْدَمَا دَخَلَ فِي السِّنِّ حَتَّى إِذَا بَقِيَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ السُّورَةِ ثَلَاثُونَ أَوْ أَرْبَعُونَ آيَةً قَامَ فَقَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' narrated to us: Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray sitting after he had advanced in age, until when thirty or forty verses remained of the surah, he would stand, recite, then bow.
