حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخُو يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَتْهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ كَسْرَ عَظْمِ الْمَيِّتِ مَيْتًا كَمِثْلِ كَسْرِهِ حَيًّا.

Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Sa'd ibn Sa'id, brother of Yahya ibn Sa'id, informed me that Amrah bint Abd al-Rahman informed him, from Aisha, that she heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Breaking the bone of the dead is like breaking it while alive."
