حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً سَبْعَ سِنِينَ يَرَى الضَّوْءَ وَيَسْمَعُ الصَّوْتَ وَثَمَانِي سِنِينَ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ وَأَقَامَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed in Makkah for fifteen years — for seven years he would see the light and hear the voice, and for eight years revelation was sent to him — and he stayed in Madinah for ten years.
