حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ النَّوْمَ جَمَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَيَنْفُثُ فِيهِمَا ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ وَرَأْسَهُ وَسَائِرَ جَسَدِهِ قَالَ عُقَيْلٌ وَرَأَيْتُ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abd al-Rahman narrated to us: Sa'id -- that is, Ibn Abi Ayyub -- narrated to us: Uqayl narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from Aisha, who said: Whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wanted to sleep, he would join his hands together, blow into them, then recite 'Say: He is Allah, the One' and 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of Daybreak' and 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of Mankind,' then wipe with them his face, his head, and the rest of his body. Uqayl said: And I saw Ibn Shihab do that.
